2010-10-15
Mindray is proud to announce the 20th anniversary of its Artema Medical R&D Center. Founded in April 1990 as Artema Medical, Mindray's Stockholm-based R&D center specializes in technology for respiratory gas monitoring, which is used in Mindray's patient monitors and anesthesia machines, as well as being sold on an OEM basis to other life support device manufacturers.

As part of the celebration, all present and former Artema employees were invited to a party where they had a wonderful time. With as many as two thirds of former employees in attendance, there were some emotional speeches and testimonials highlighting the success of Artema and its positive spirit.

"We are very proud of Artema's success and delighted that the company is celebrating 20 years of high-quality work and dedication to the production of respiratory gas monitoring," said Mr. Xu Hang, Mindray's Chairman and Co-Chief Executive Officer. "Artema's technology has been critical in helping Mindray's patient monitors and anesthesia machines meet the highest standards of quality and performance. We look forward to many more years of collaboration, during which we will continue to enhance Artema's state-of-the-art technology as well as Mindray's patient monitoring and anesthesia products."
